The impulse of a new generation

The mission

A new brand called CUPRA began sponsoring FC Barcelona in 2019. The goal, to raise awareness of the brand worldwide through creative and disruptive actions. With this exciting challenge ahead, our team got behind the wheel to help CUPRA get the most out of its deal by inspiring the world from Barcelona.

The idea

We conducted a comprehensive brand study. Together with their marketing and sponsorship team, we understood what CUPRA meant and what the brand wanted to convey to the world. From there, we created a sponsorship activation plan with FC Barcelona and its football ambassadors that would allow the brand to communicate its values, its essence, and connect with a new generation of people eager for something new and exciting. The various actions we have carried out have had a significant international impact and have helped elevate the brand, placing it at the top of mind of its potential consumers.

Brand Ambassadors

Since its inception, CUPRA has had various brand ambassadors representing the drive of new generations. Spodeal has worked hand in hand with the brand, carrying out an activation plan for its different ambassadors. Working with Ter Stegen, Alexia Putellas, or Ansu Fati has been both a major challenge and a valuable learning experience, allowing us to collaborate with them on brand campaigns and activities related to CUPRA’s sponsorship of FC Barcelona.

Additionally, we’ve had the opportunity to work across different brand territories, also collaborating with the CUPRA Padel Tribe by organizing events such as Tribe Day and building a padel court from scratch at Camp Nou.
